Please
note:
The trip and waypoint management functions of this product work
with nearly all GARMIN GPS units, excluding the GPS100 family
and panel mount aviation units. The map download features of this
product will work only with the StreetPilot GPS, StreetPilot ColorMap,
GPSMAP 295 and eMap units. A blank 8 or 16MB cartridge is needed
to upload map data to these compatible units.
The MapSource™
MetroGuide Sweden/Denmark CD-ROM includes trip and waypoint management
functions that allow you to transfer waypoints, routes, and tracks
between your PC and nearly all GARMIN GPS units. MetroGuide Sweden/Denmark
contains extremely detailed city maps with street level information
with address lookup capability when downloaded to a GARMIN compatible
GPS. Also present are motorways, national and regional thoroughfares,
roundabouts, railroads, and local roads in many areas. Displays
points of interest, such as lodging, parking, shopping, border
crossings, petrol stations, hospitals and much more. Also provides
shoreline of lakes, rivers, streams and canals. With a map download-compatible
GARMIN GPS, MapSource™ will allow you to load map detail,
addresses, business listings, and points of interest from pre-determined
sections outlined on the CD-ROM. MetroGuide data is easily transferred
from a personal computer to the StreetPilot GPS, StreetPilot
ColorMap,
GPSMAP 295, and eMap units by simply inserting a blank or pre-programmed
8 MB or 16 MB data cartridge, selecting a desired location, and
downloading the data.

Sweden includes about 300,000 km roadway (67% of all roads),
about 200 municipalities, 53 major cities in full street level
detail and up to 79% of the Swedish population. The northern
most coverage includes Amal, Bengtsfors, Ed and Skagarrak.
